Mushroom-rich Pasta
(With garlic bread)

This is a very simple recipe
Ingredients : |
Assorted pasta shapes 1 tin of 400g chopped tomatoes Chestnut mushrooms A few fresh black olives 1 Red onion 1 Garlic bread baguette (Lidl sell an amazing baguette for 22p) |

Step 1 - Boil the pasta shapes in a saucepan. |

Step 2 - Cook the garlic baguette as per the instructions. |

Step 3 - Slice the chestnut mushrooms and red onion. |

Step 4 - Fry the red onion in extra virgin olive oil. |

Step 5 - Add the sliced chestnut mushrooms with the onions and cook for a couple of minutes. |

Step 6 - Add the tin of chopped tomatoes into the saucepan with onions and mushrooms. |

Step 7 - Drain the pasta once its soft and stir in the sauce. |

Step 8 - Serve the pasta with half a garlic baguette per person. |
