Traditional Italian Lasagna
(With garlic bread)

This delightful recipe is perfect for warm summer evenings!
Ingredients : |

Garlic bread baguettes (£0.22 from Lidl) |
Preheat the oven to 200°C / Gas mark 6
Step 1 - Slice the courgette and red onions |

Step 2 - Drizzle olive oil into a large saucepan |

Step 3 - Fry the red onions into the saucepan |
|
Step 4 - Once the red onions are soft; add the courgettes to the saucepan |
|
Step 5 - Add the Garden Gourmet mince to the mixture |
|
Step 6 - Stir in the tomato sauce |
|
Step 7 - Once the sauce is bubbling; sandwich the sauce between layers of lasagna sheets |
|
Step 8 - Sprinkle grated mozzarella over the uppermost sauce layer |
|
Step 9 - Cover with aluminium foil and bake for 45 minutes |
|
Step 10 - Remove the foil after 35 minutes in the oven |
|
Step 11 - Bake the garlic baguettes for approximately 15 minutes |
|
Step 12 - Once the cheese is golden; remove the lasagna from the oven |
|
Step 13 - Divide the lasagna into portions and serve |
|
Step 14 - Remove the garlic baguette from the oven and serve |
